Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Jay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Silva!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay moves to clinch but Silva breaks away

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva.

Jay gets control of Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jay will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jay.
Silva wants to clinch up but Jay keeps it at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
