Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikoli Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luna Soleil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Big Papa blaring out of the sound system. Nikoli Gracie has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nikoli Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luna Soleil!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie wants to land a leg kick but Soleil is out of range.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Soleil pinned against the cage. Soleil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gracie misses with a head kick.
Luna Soleil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soleil uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gracie has time to react.
Gracie finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Soleil tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Soleil to the ground. Soleil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Soleil jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Soleil as he jumps to the side.

Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

A nice leg kick lands there from Soleil.
Soleil pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Soleil lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Soleil takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Soleil's guard.

Soleil working for a triangle but Gracie defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
Soleil wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.

Gracie wants to pass the guard but Soleil is defending well.
Gracie prevents Soleil from improving his position.
Gracie thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Soleil to regain full guard.
Gracie prevents Soleil from getting back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Soleil throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Soleil looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Soleil tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Soleil misses with the combination.

The fight stays on the outside here - Soleil looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Soleil looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gracie!

Soleil is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gracie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Soleil lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Soleil lands a big elbow.
Gracie can't escape the position.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Soleil has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gracie's face.
Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Soleil has wrist control.
Gracieis looking to pass into half guard but Soleil pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Soleil is in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Soleil throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Soleil shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gracie throws a wild body kick that Soleil sees coming a mile off.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Soleil cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Soleil wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
Gracie manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Soleil trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.

Soleil stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Gracie misses the shot to the body.

and Soleil makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

A jab lands there for Soleil.
Soleil jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.
Gracie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Gracie is rocked!
It's a brutal combination of punches from Soleil! Gracie is backing up but he can't get away as Soleil lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Gracie and ends the fight. Great knockout.
