Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Byrkjelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rorion Marcellado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Byrkjelo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Skindred, no body. Damien Byrkjelo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcellado closes this distance looking for a takedown but Byrkjelo circles away.
Damien Byrkjelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcellado looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Byrkjelo!
Byrkjelo manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Marcellado winds up and cracks Byrkjelo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Marcellado slips a nice elbow through Byrkjelo's hands, connecting with Byrkjelo's forehead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marcellado might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Byrkjelo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Marcellado looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Byrkjelo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Byrkjelo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marcellado on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marcellado connects with a nice short shot to Byrkjelo's temple.
Marcellado scores with a big shot! Byrkjelo's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Byrkjelo! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
