Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Stratton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lucky Stratton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stratton.
Stratton has a takedown stuffed.
Lucas keeps the fight on the outside.
Stratton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stratton fails with the takedown.

Lucas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lucas showed some decent athleticism there.
Lucas frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stratton is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lucas landing strikes from the mount and Stratton is in trouble!

Lucas has hold of Stratton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stratton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Stratton is looking to get to half guard.
Lucas wants to take his opponent's back but Stratton doesn't allow it.

Lucas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stratton manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Stratton is not content to let Lucas control the position.

Lucas decides to stand back up. Lucas steps back and let's Stratton get back to his feet.

Lucas shoots in for a double leg but Stratton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lucas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Stratton misses with an uppercut.
Lucas swings for the body but Stratton moves out of range.
Lucas misses with a takedown attempt - Stratton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stratton misses with a double jab.
Stratton stuffs the takedown attempt from Lucas. Lucas gets slowly back to his feet.
Stratton tries to clinch up.

No joy there for Stratton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lucas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stratton sprawls well initially but Lucas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lucas tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stratton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lucas is looking for a kimura here.
Stratton won't allow Lucas to pass to mount.
Stratton tries to kick Lucas off but Lucas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Stratton is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lucas works his way into full mount!
Stratton is working to get back to half guard.

Stratton is working hard here to advance position.
Stratton is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Lucas tries to control but Stratton wriggling away.

Lucas working for a submission but Stratton is keeping him at bay.
Lucas takes Stratton's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Stratton is in trouble.
You can see the frustration on Stratton's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Lucas scores with punches to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Lucas dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lucas gets a takedown into half guard.
Stratton works his way to full guard. Good work.

Lucas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stratton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stratton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stratton!
Stratton controls the position from side control.
Lucas gets back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lucas has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Stratton. Oh but Lucas has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Stratton goes limp - he's gone! Lucas jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
