The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hetfield throws an overhand right that lands on The World's shoulder, as The World tries to avoid the shot.
The World scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The World looks to score with a jab to the body but Hetfield is just out of range.
Hetfield has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hetfield there as he acknowledges the shot.
The World lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like James Hetfield has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hetfield swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and The World counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hetfield! The World lets Hetfield back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hetfield lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Versus The World has been cut.
The World leaves Hetfield with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The World uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hetfield.
Hetfield throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hetfield misses with a hook. The World ducked under it nicely.
Hetfield shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The World sprawls well. The World wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hetfield gets slowly back to his feet.

Versus The World has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Hetfield.

A looping hook to the body misses from The World. Hetfield does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hetfield is trying desperately to land a takedown but The World is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hetfield.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by The World.

The World feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hetfield sprawling to the canvas! Hetfield rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can The World finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The World lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The World moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

The World dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hetfield. That did some damage!
James Hetfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hetfield on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by The World. The World obviously looking to wear him down.
The World is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Hetfield is holding his hands too far apart here. The World throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Hetfield is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Versus The World really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [CBK] LEGAL HIGHS « SFL ↑ 5x160Q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
