Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Petrus Kidu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Xylar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidu comes to the cage accompanied by Tribe - Soulfly. Dante Xylar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xylar throws a chopping leg kick but Kidu manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Xylar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A lazy left from Kidu finds it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Xylar. No joy for Kidu on that attempt.
Kidu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Xylar's waist but Xylar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kidu off to one side.
Xylar shoots for a double leg takedown but Kidu sprawls well. He's pushed Xylar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kidu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Xylar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kidu is fending him off so far but Xylar persists. Nope, Kidu circles away and we're back to standing.

Kidu takes the fight into the clinch.

Xylar jumps guard but Kidu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Kidu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kidu tries to clinch but Xylar moves out of range.

Kidu moves into range and clinches up with Xylar.
Kidu is looking to break free of the clinch but Xylar has double underhooks.
Xylar prevents the takedown attempt.
Xylar avoids a wild elbow strike from Kidu.

Xylar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kidu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Xylar counters with a left to the body.

Xylar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kidu sprawls well initially but Xylar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kidu moves into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kidu has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Kidu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Xylar manages to get himself to full guard.
Xylar can't keep his opponent in guard - Kidu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Xylar is refusing to be controlled, as Kidu sits in half guard.
Xylar is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kidu not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Xylar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kidu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Still in half guard, Kidu seems content to control.
