Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between BoB Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dan collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

collins wants the takedown. Black is fighting it off but collins persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Black's guard against the cage.
Black keeping moving, preventing collins from controlling successfully.
Black trying to control the position.
collins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Black trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
collins sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Black wants to stand up but collins is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Black throws a series of punches but collins moves out of range.
Black shoots in but no luck this time.
Black steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from collins. That one must have hurt.
Black looks for a takedown but collins sprawls well.
Black misses the shot to the body.
collins throws a combination. Black tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Black tries to clinch up

and collins counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
collins is pressing down on Black's thigh, looking to free his foot. Black is holding on for now.

collins is looking for a kimura but Black is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for collins to get the leverage.
Black wants to stand back up but collins manages to pass into side control.

collins decides to stand back up.
Black is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and collins counters with a takedown into side control.
collins tries to move into full mount but can't pass Black's legs.
collins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Black wants to control but collins postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Black tries to bench press collins off him but collins keeps the position.

collins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Black has escaped the position, nice work there.
Black is trying to buck collins off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Black pulls collins into guard.

Black seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

collins stands and steps away. Black gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Black stands and throws collins's legs to the side, diving into side control.
collins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
collins sneaks back into half guard.
collins trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

collins tries to hold on but Black pushes him away.

collins has left one of his arms exposed and Black doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. collins screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
