And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Plouman Snr!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman Snr misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ment rushes Plouman Snr and presses him up against the cage.

Ment's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ment keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Plouman Snr. Ment does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ment jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sloppy strikes from Ment. Those never looked like landing.
Ment throws a sloppy head kick and Plouman Snr moves out of range easily.
Tour Ment seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Plouman Snr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ment.
Ment tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Plouman Snr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ment closes the distance and clinches up with Plouman Snr, looking for a takedown. Ment pushes Plouman Snr against the cage but Plouman Snr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ment throws a series of punches but Plouman Snr moves out of range.
Ment looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Plouman Snr is fending him off so far but Ment persists. Nope, Plouman Snr circles away and we're back to standing.
Ment misses with a hook. Plouman Snr ducked under it nicely.
Ment shoots for a double leg takedown but Plouman Snr sprawls well. He's pushed Ment's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tour Ment. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Plouman Snr goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Tour Ment has been cut.
Ment blocks a head kick by Plouman Snr.
Ment waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Plouman Snr.
Plouman Snr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ment manages to avoid it.
Plouman Snr throws the kick towards the body but Ment avoids it.
Ment throws a predictable looking body shot
and Plouman Snr counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Luke Plouman Snr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Plouman Snr swings for the body but Ment moves out of range.
Plouman Snr slips under a jab from Ment.
Ment closes this distance looking for a takedown but Plouman Snr circles away.
Plouman Snr lands a nice shot to the body.
Ment is breathing heavily.
Plouman Snr misses with a body shot.
Ment takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Plouman Snr takes a swing at Ment's ribcage but misses.
Plouman Snr scores with a leg kick.

Plouman Snr sends Ment crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Plouman Snr is motioning to the referee to let Ment up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Plouman Snr throws a hook to the side of Ment's head but Ment sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ment on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Plouman Snr. Plouman Snr obviously looking to wear him down.
Plouman Snr scores with a kick to the body.
Plouman Snr lands a leg kick that knocks Ment off balance momentarily.

Plouman Snr cracks Ment with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Plouman Snr has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ment to stand back up!

Tour Ment's cut is getting worse.
Plouman Snr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Plouman Snr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ment stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Plouman Snr is stalking Ment. Ment circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Plouman Snr, and it's lights out! Ment really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
