Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vic Vantrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Koenig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vic Vantrell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vic Vantrell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koenig moves into the clinch successfully.
Vantrell is looking to take this one to the mat.

Vantrell jumps into guard, dragging Koenig to the mat.
Vantrell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Vantrell with the ground and pound from mount.
Vantrell trying to control but Koenig is having none of it.
Koenig keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vantrell is landing with some decent strikes but Koenig is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koenig wants to control but Vantrell is having none of it.
Koenig is wriggling around trying to escape.
Koenig trying desperately to get to his feet.
Vantrell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Koenig tries to hold on but Vantrell pushes him away.
Vantrell drops a big elbow. That's hurt Koenig! More shots from Vantrell and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
