PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Randale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geter Done (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randale comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Randale.
Done tries to score a power double leg takedown but Randale sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Done somewhat.
Randale throws an off balance right hand

and Done counters by clinching up.
Done is trying to drag Randale to the mat but Randale just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The referee is keeping an eye on Randale - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

It looks like Geter Done has been cut.

Done has his feet on Randale's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Done is nestled in close to Randale, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Done takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Randale knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Done on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Done accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Randale on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Randale tries to get out of the position.

Done wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randale keeps working.
Done working over Randale with some ground and pound. Randale looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Randale is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Done passes the guard and advances to mount!
Done is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Randale can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Done moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Randale has worked his arm free - good work by Randale!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Done trying to control the position but Randale is working away.
Done creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Randale sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Done lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Done has hold of Randale's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Randale tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Done cranks the arm and Randale screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Randale, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
