Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Corey Haim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haim kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Work With What You Got. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Calzaghe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Haim has managed to get both his arms back between Calzaghe's legs - danger averted.
Haim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calzaghe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Calzaghe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Haim shoots in for a double leg but Calzaghe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Haim misses with an uppercut. Calzaghe saw that one coming.

and Calzaghe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Haim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Calzaghe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haim tries to avoid it but Calzaghe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haim to the ground. Haim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Corey Haim will probably get the nod.
