Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Pelaez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Skelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelaez comes to the cage accompanied by Never gonna give you up-Rick Astley. Skelton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Example - Midnight Run kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Pelaez tries to clinch there but Skelton circles away.

Skelton has Pelaez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Skelton pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pelaez tumbling to the mat - Skelton dives into Pelaez's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Skelton wants to control from the top but Pelaez keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
