Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mister Pink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zane Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pink's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mitsa. Zane Newton has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mister Pink's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Newton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pink looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Horrible takedown by Pink or perhaps it was just good defense by Newton which made him look bad.
Pink shoots in for a takedown but Newton shows good takedown defense.
Newton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Newton is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pink will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Despite being in the dominant position, Zane Newton just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pink doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Newton counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pink!

Pink is wriggling around trying to escape.

Pink tries to lock up and control but Newton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pink has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Newton is riding his opponent, not letting Pink buck him off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Newton is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Pink has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Newton has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Pink taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Newton doesn't care though - he's delighted!
