The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gouki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Gouki jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Montoya Rivera is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Montoya Rivera and Gouki has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Montoya Rivera parries the strikes from Gouki easily there. Gouki is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Montoya Rivera to escape.
Gouki tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Gouki is sitting in close to Montoya Rivera's body. Montoya Rivera has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gouki is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gouki is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Montoya Rivera.
