The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peck takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Peck tests Bauer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bauer tries for a takedown but Peck sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Templeton Peck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bauer shoots in and drives through. Peck sprawls well.
Peck will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bauer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Bauer dives in and grabs Peck's left leg, looking for a takedown. Peck pushes down on Bauer's head and hops out.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Peck is looking for a sweep. Bauer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bauer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Peck is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bauer scores with a couple of nice shots.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bauer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Bauer shoots in looking for a takedown. Peck tries to sprawl out of it but Bauer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Peck manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Peck lands a big head kick that sends Bauer tumbling to the mat! Peck takes a step backwards and waves Bauer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bauer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
