Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xerxes Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Repullo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves connects with a single shot there.
Repullo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fighters circling - Repullo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alves throws a hook but Repullo blocks it.
Repullo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alves.

Repullo forces Alves back against the cage and clinches.
Alves tries to throw a body punch but Repullo avoids it by throwing Alves back against the cage.
Repullo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Alves lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Alves working Repullo over with knees to the body.
Repullo looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves lands a left hand that snaps the head of Repullo backwards.
Alves using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Repullo takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Raymond Repullo has been cut.
Alves lands a nice shot to the body.

Alves lands a big uppercut and Repullo is down! He's in big trouble - Alves follows him to the mat!

Repullo is rocked!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Alves perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Repullo is still in real trouble! Can Alves finish him?

Alves postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Repullo to stand up.
Alves Throws a clean left jab. Alves Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Repullo's chin! Repullo crumbles to the ground and Alves follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Alves!

A relieved looking Xerxes Alves thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
