Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson thows a body shot but no joy.
Henderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Henderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Callahan can pounce on him.
Henderson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Henderson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Henderson cracks Callahan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Callahan slips under a jab from Henderson.
Henderson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Henderson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Callahan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Henderson thows a body shot but no joy.
Callahan throws a shot from downtown. Henderson moves away and avoids it.
Henderson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Callahan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Henderson.
Henderson throws out a leg kick but Callahan moves out of range and Henderson only half commits.
Callahan slips a straight right by Henderson.
Henderson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Callahan's head.
Callahan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Henderson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Henderson scoring well with a low kick there.
Henderson shoots in and bounces Callahan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Henderson is sitting in close to Callahan's body. Callahan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Henderson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Henderson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Callahan.
