Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Olone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Seletzsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Seletzsky!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seletzsky loads up on a big right hand but Olone slips the punch.
Seletzsky throws out a loose jab but Olone uses good head movement to avoid it.

Olone closes the distance and clinches.

Olone pulls guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Seletzsky trying to control but Olone is working from the bottom.

Seletzsky wants to control from the top but Olone keeps moving.
Seletzsky might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Olone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Olone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Seletzsky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Olone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Olone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Seletzsky is on top in guard.

Seletzsky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Olone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Olone or perhaps it was just good defense by Seletzsky which made him look bad.
Seletzsky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Olone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Seletzsky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Seletzsky had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Olone is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Seletzsky Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Olone's back instead.

Seletzsky is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Olone is defending well though. Seletzsky let's go of the attempt for now.
Olone tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Seletzsky goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Olone turns into him and now he's in Seletzsky's guard.

Seletzsky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Seletzsky is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Olone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Olone postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Olone lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Olone looks for a takedown but Seletzsky sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Olone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Seletzsky wants to control but Olone is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Seletzsky has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Olone should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Seletzsky has tightened it up now! Olone should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
