Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liu Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis staying out of range there.

Davis pushes Kang up against the cage in a clinch.

Davis is trying to trip Kang. He has hold of a leg but Kang is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Davis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Davis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Davis passes Kang's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Davis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kang is just riding it out for now. Davis eventually gives up the hold.
Davis thows a huge punch but Kang dodges it nicely.

Davis drops an elbow to the side of Kang's head.
Davis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kang!

Davis lands a big shot there that rocks Kang but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Liu Kang has been cut.

Davis working for a guillotine from mount but Kang is in no mood to give up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Davis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Kang in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Davis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Davis lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Kang! Davis sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Kang and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
