Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Purple Urcle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamus O Hooligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Hooligan has chosen Shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphy as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Purple Urcle has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Purple Urcle seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Hooligan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
O Hooligan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Urcle as he jumps to the side.
A left and a right from Urcle both land. Nice combination.
O Hooligan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Purple Urcle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shamus O Hooligan.
Urcle misses with a few strikes there.
Purple Urcle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Urcle.
Urcle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but O Hooligan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Urcle looks to land a combination. O Hooligan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Urcle goes for a takedown in the clinch but O Hooligan prevents it.
O Hooligan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Urcle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
O Hooligan looks gassed!

Urcle tries to free his leg and advance position but O Hooligan is retaining full guard.

O Hooligan is looking for a triangle but Urcle pushes his legs off easily.

Urcle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Urcle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Urcle shoots in but O Hooligan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
O Hooligan tries to clinch but Urcle is having none of it.

O Hooligan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

O Hooligan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A lull in the action here as O Hooligan stalls from top position.

O Hooligan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Urcle is trying to escape and O Hooligan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Urcle is forced to tap! Nice work there by O Hooligan! Very nice indeed!
