The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adolphus tries for a takedown but Kicasstis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adolphus is defended easily by Kicasstis.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kicasstis throws a shot from downtown. Adolphus moves away and avoids it.
Nice takedown defense from Kicasstis. No joy for Adolphus on that attempt.

Adolphus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kicasstis pinned against the cage. Kicasstis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Adolphus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kicasstis avoids it really well and circles away.

Kicasstis pushes Adolphus off looking to stand but Adolphus dives back in and keeps control.

Kicasstis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adolphus.
Adolphus slips a jab from Kicasstis.
Adolphus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kicasstis pinned against the cage. Kicasstis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Adolphus is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kicasstis's half guard.

Kicasstis kicks Adolphus off and gets back to his feet.

Kicasstis throws an overhand right that lands on Adolphus's shoulder, as Adolphus tries to avoid the shot.
Adolphus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kicasstis cracks Adolphus with an uppercut from hell and Adolphus crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kicasstis's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Adolphus is rocked!

Kicasstis works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Oh Adolphus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kicasstis seems to be looking for submissions.

Kicasstis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kicasstis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kicasstis scores with a big shot! Adolphus's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Adolphus! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
