Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sith One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quala Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think One might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sith . Quala Bear is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Quala Bear!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One needs to keep his hands up - Bear had a free shot at his head there.
A big left from Bear misses.
One misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bear scores with a jab. One acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bear throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent One stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bear throws a lazy uppercut

and One counters by moving into the clinch.

One has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bear clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bear is trying to stand back up.

One is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bear has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
One struggling to land strikes to the head as Bear covers up.
One controlling well, preventing Bear from escaping the position.
One struggling to keep hold of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear trying to control the hands but One breaks the grip.
One has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Bear.
Bear breaks One's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bear trying to control the position from guard on top but One is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bear throws a big elbow that misses.

One is looking for a triangle but Bear pushes his legs off easily.

One is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bear stands up over One, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

One has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bear can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bear wants to stand but One is controlling his posture from full guard.

One keeping full guard, as Bear tries to pass.
Bear postures up in One's guard and throws a big left but One blocks it.
One manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bear is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, One cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bear bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bear is posturing up here but One has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bear tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bear has to tap! Slick submission there by One!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sith One!
