Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tykeem Tykeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachery Houk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tykeem goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Houk pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Houk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Houk slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Tykeem.

Tykeem wants to control but Houk is having none of it.

Houk has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Houk breaks from Tykeem's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Houk stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Houk closes the distance but Tykeem moves to the side
and Tykeem counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Houk shoots in but Tykeem avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tykeem takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Houk tries to clinch up but Tykeem circles away and keeps his distance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Houk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Tykeem tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Houk manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tykeem shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Houk sprawls well. Houk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tykeem gets slowly back to his feet.
Houk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tykeem is fending him off so far but Houk persists. Nope, Tykeem circles away and we're back to standing.

and Houk counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Houk with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Houk wants to control from the top but Tykeem keeps moving.
Houk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Houk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tykeem is trying to control the position but Houk postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tykeem looking to control but Houk passes into half guard.
Tykeem is staying active underneath Houk, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Houk is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Houk moves into full mount! Tykeem won't be happy about that!

Houk is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tykeem can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Houk looking to finish Tykeem with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tykeem!
Houk lands a big elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Houk wants to control the pace but Tykeem is squirming around nicely.
Houk has hold of Tykeem's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tykeem manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Houk is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tykeem is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tykeem flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Houk anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tykeem and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Houk slips an arm under Tykeem chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Houk has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Houk is squeezing on Tykeem like an anaconda would it's prey. Tykeem fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
