Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Thunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russell comes into the arena with LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out blaring out of the sound system. Thunders is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ain't That A Kick In The Head by Dean Martin. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thunders at a distance.
Russell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Russell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thunders circles away quickly and effectively.
Russell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Russell fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Thunders is out of range.
Thunders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Russell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Russell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thunders connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Russell scrambles back to his feet.

Thunders tries to close the distance and clinch but Russell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A left lands for Thunders.
Thunders lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Russell lands with a shot to the body.
Thunders bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Russell's head backwards.

Russell is rocked!

Russell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Thunders throws a monster overhand right that drops Russell! Thunders follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
