Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Power White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Machida is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! White crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Machida - the referee stops the clock and White gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Machida. White manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Machida might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
