The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelikso circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kelikso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kelikso drops Sambochek with a left right combo! Kelikso follows him down to the ground into side control.

Kelikso steps into range and cracks Sambochek with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Sambochek flops backwards and Kelikso dives into his guard looking to finish!

Kelikso drops back looking for a leg! Sambochek is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sambochek manages to kick Kelikso off! Kelikso jumps back into Sambochek's guard.
Sambochek seems to have got his legs back now.
Sambochek is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kelikso drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kelikso jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kelikso pushes down on Sambochek's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Sambochek is refusing to be controlled, as Kelikso sits in half guard.
Sambochek is looking to improve his position.
Kelikso takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kelikso is tying to control. Sambochek wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sambochek dances in with a quick combination. Kelikso is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sambochek snaps Kelikso's head back. Kelikso stumbles backwards against the cage. Sambochek steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Kelikso's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Kelikso just didn't come prepared.
