Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glen McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Dalit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald comes into the arena with Superstar blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen McDonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Dalit!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalit is looking to clinch.
Dalit fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dalit moves forwards but McDonald connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McDonald jabs at Dalit's body.
Nice shot lands for McDonald.
McDonald misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dalit.
McDonald lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McDonald tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A shot to de liver by McDonald. Beautiful body shot.

McDonald bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

McDonald wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dalit, who protects the arm well.

McDonald tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McDonald has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
McDonald passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dalit!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dalit's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
McDonald looking to control but Dalit is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

McDonald moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dalit has worked his arm free - good work by Dalit!
Dalit wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McDonald looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Dalit prevents McDonald from moving into mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDonald wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dalit keeps working.
McDonald works to advance to full mount. Dalit defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Dalit is trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McDonald wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

McDonald is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dalit has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dalit!
McDonald is breathing heavily.
Dalit wanted to stand there but McDonald had control of the position.

McDonald working for a triangle but Dalit defends it easily.
Dalit postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

McDonald looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dalit passes into side control.
McDonald tries to bench press Dalit off him but Dalit keeps the position.

Dalit decides to stand back up.
Dalit tries to clinch up.
McDonald swats away the attempt to clinch by Dalit.
Dalit doesn't manage to clinch there - McDonald circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glen McDonald dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dalit tries to clinch but McDonald is having none of it.
Dalit tries to close the distance and clinch but McDonald swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dalit tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dalit looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McDonald keeps the fight on the outside.
McDonald slips a jab and a cross from Dalit.
Dalit is looking to clinch.
Dalit takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Dalit tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDonald paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dalit wants to clinch.
McDonald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dalit tries to avoid it but McDonald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dalit to the ground. Dalit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dalit is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! McDonald hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dexter Dalit!
