Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brynden Tully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brynden Tully has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brynden Tully!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Tully does no damage.
Hardy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hardy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tully to score with a decent uppercut.
Tully scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tully looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hardy throws a wild body kick that Tully sees coming a mile off.

Tully closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hardy's guard.
Hardy is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tully wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving.
Hardy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hardy tries to get out of the position.
Hardy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tully slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tully swings around for an armbar but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tully's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tully has his hands on Hardy's head, controlling the position.
Hardy wants to control from the top but Tully keeps moving.
Hardy stopping the sweep attempt from Tully.
Tully looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hardy throws a strike but Tully rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hardy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tully is controlling him.
Tully wants to pass the guard but Hardy is keeping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tully postures up.
Tully wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving.
Tully passes Hardy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hardy works his way to full guard. Good work.
Tully trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tully seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tully trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hardy is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brynden Tully.
Tully avoids a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brynden Tully dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Tully fails with a takedown attempt.
Hardy tries for a takedown but Tully circles away easily
and Tully counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Matt Hardy has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hardy.
Tully lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Matt Hardy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tully ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Hardy's jaw. Hardy's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Tully does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
