Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ring Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ring Kong!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kong rushes Ross and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ross has picked Kong up - he's going for a ride! Ross dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Kong has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ross is working away from the top position though.
Ross wants to pass the guard but Kong is defending well.

Ross has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kong is looking for a sweep. Ross is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ross will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ross is really struggling to control Kong but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Kong wants to clinch up but Ross keeps it at a distance.

Ross shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kong's guard.

Ross is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ring Kong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kong moves in looking to clinch but Ross pushes him off.

Ross closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ross lands a nice short elbow.

Ross lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kong quite badly. Kong pulls Ross in close trying to recover. Ross postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kong on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kong doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Ross!
An out of breath Ryan Ross thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
