Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and klas jenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jenny comes into a darkened arena with his song building. august bruns red - meddler kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks shoots in looking for a takedown. jenny tries to sprawl out of it but Brooks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. jenny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
jenny throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Jared Brooks has been cut.
Brooks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brooks looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
jenny wants to stand but Brooks is controlling the position.
jenny not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brooks wants to control from the top but jenny keeps moving.

Brooks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Brooks looking to pass the guard.
jenny lands an upkick as Brooks stands over him.
jenny controls Brooks momentarily but Brooks frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Brooks is breathing heavily.

jenny throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brooks works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Brooks had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. jenny is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brooks Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take jenny's back instead.
jenny is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Brooks off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
jenny wants to get back to his feet.

jenny is in bad spot here.
Brooks is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. jenny is defending well though. Brooks let's go of the attempt for now.
jenny tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Brooks looking for a guillotine from mount but jenny is having none of it.
jenny is squirming around, avoiding Brooks's attempts to control the action.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Brooks goes for an armbar but he's not got it… jenny turns into him and now he's in Brooks's guard.
Brooks keeping moving, preventing jenny from controlling successfully.
Brooks is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but klas jenny will probably get the nod.

Brooks with a poor takedown
and jenny counters with a straight right hand.
jenny shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Brooks counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in jenny's guard now.

jenny manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brooks wants to control but jenny is having none of it.
jenny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brooks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
jenny swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brooks is now in jenny's guard. A big mistake from jenny there, giving up the dominant position!

Brooks wants to control from the top but jenny keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brooks slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
jenny is looking for a triangle here but Brooks uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
jenny is looking to regain half guard here but Brooks keeps moving and retains side control.

Brooks wants to control but jenny is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on jenny's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
jenny gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Brooks prevents jenny from improving his position.

jenny wants to get back to full guard but Brooks has passed into side control.

Brooks misses with a takedown
and jenny counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brooks thinking.
jenny shoots in and bounces Brooks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
jenny has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brooks is proving hard to escape from.
jenny makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brooks is working hard here to advance position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
jenny shoots in but no luck this time.
Brooks feints and as jenny raises his hands in defense, Brooks changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
jenny trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Brooks advances to half guard.
Brooks frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Brooks is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Brooks extends the arm and jenny is forced to tap!
