The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a sloppy head kick and Xocoyol moves out of range easily.
Xocoyol blocks a jab.
Xocoyol avoids the head kick by Emelianenko.
Sloppy strikes from Xocoyol. Those never looked like landing.
Xocoyol checks a leg kick.

Emelianenko misses with a looping right.
Xocoyol throws a nice looking combination but Emelianenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Emelianenko throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Xocoyol tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like Tecocol Xocoyol has been cut.

Xocoyol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Emelianenko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Emelianenko postures up in Xocoyol's guard and throws a big left but Xocoyol blocks it.

Emelianenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Xocoyol is just riding it out for now. Emelianenko eventually gives up the hold.
