Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oliver John!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John tries to clinch up but Castle circles away and keeps his distance.
Oliver John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
John is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sloppy strikes from John. Those never looked like landing.
Castle shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. John eats them both and turns towards Castle to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
John throws a sloppy head kick and Castle moves out of range easily.
Castle misses with a jab, cross combination.
John throws a jab but it's blocked by Castle.
John's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and John duly obliges.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Castle is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
John throws a sloppy head kick and Castle moves out of range easily.
Oh Castle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

John moves into range and clinches up with Castle.

John manages to break the clinch.
Castle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
John throws a head kick that misses.

and Castle counters with a series of strikes. John will be more careful next time no doubt.
John tries to close the distance and clinch but Castle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

John feints a jab promting Castle to slip. John then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Castle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Castle lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
John tries to clinch up.
Castle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Castle jabs John to the body, keeping him at a distance.
John misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Castle avoids the head kick by John.
John tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Castle counters with a nice uppercut.
Castle connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
John is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Castle.

John clinches up against the cage.
Castle prevents John from breaking the clinch.

John takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
John doesn't manage to clinch there - Castle circles away.

Castle ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Castle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

John throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

John tries to close the distance and clinch but Castle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

John is rocked!
Castle lands with an uppercut that bounces John off the cage and back into range.
John is still on wobbly legs! Can Castle finish him?
Castle connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent John tumbling to the canvas! Castle pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! John was done - good stoppage!
