Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Farinha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farinha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Novak sprawls well. Novak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Farinha gets slowly back to his feet.
Novak lands a jab to the head.
Novak fails with a takedown attempt.
Novak attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Farinha looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Novak moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Farinha wanted to stand there but Novak had control of the position.
Novak keeping moving, preventing Farinha from controlling successfully.
Novak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Farinha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Farinha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Novak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Novak working for a triangle but Farinha defends it easily.
Novak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Farinha makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Farinha is really struggling to control Novak but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Novak is trying to keep Farinha in close.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Novak has a takedown stuffed.

Farinha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Novak pinned against the cage. Novak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Farinha shoots in looking for a takedown. Novak tries to sprawl out of it but Farinha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Novak manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Farinha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Novak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Farinha tries to keep at a distance but Novak has taken the fight into the clinch.
Novak is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Farinha pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Farinha has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Novak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Farinha tries to score a body lock takedown but Novak shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Farinha tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Novak just stands there and leans against the cage.
Novak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Farinha defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Novak.
Novak shoots in looking for a takedown but Farinha manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Novak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Novak shoots in looking for a takedown. Farinha tries to sprawl out of it but Novak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Farinha manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Novak connects with a good right hand that stumbles Farinha. Farinha circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Novak looks for a takedown but Farinha sprawls well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bam Novak will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Farinha shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Farinha has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Novak defend it? Farinha steps over the head and cranks it - Novak is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Farinha!
