Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob O Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jakasashii!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Reilly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jakasashii tries to avoid it but O Reilly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jakasashii to the ground. Jakasashii escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jakasashii shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says O Reilly as he avoids it easily.
O Reilly closes the distance and clinches up with Jakasashii, looking for a takedown. O Reilly pushes Jakasashii against the cage but Jakasashii circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Reilly lands a nice hook to Jakasashii's body. Jakasashii takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jakasashii doesn't succeed with the takedown
and O Reilly counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
O Reilly shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jakasashii is trying to defend but O Reilly finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jakasashii won't allow O Reilly to pass to mount.
Jakasashii is refusing to be controlled, as O Reilly sits in half guard.
O Reilly frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Reilly wants to take his opponent's back but Jakasashii doesn't allow it.
O Reilly prevents Jakasashii from getting the reversal.
Jakasashii is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Reilly controlling from mount.
Jakasashii is wriggling around trying to escape.
O Reilly has hold of Jakasashii's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jakasashii manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jakasashii is trying desperately to improve position.

O Reilly tries to control but Jakasashii wriggling away.
Jakasashii is wriggling around trying to escape.
O Reilly with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
O Reilly moves to take his opponent's back.
Jakasashii staying busy and making it hard for O Reilly to control.
Jakasashii tries to escape but O Reilly has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Jakasashii is looking to escape here. Oh dear - O Reilly has locked on a rear naked choke here! Jakasashii is tapping out! The fight is over!

Jacob O Reilly tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
