Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Boggerjoe McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a leg kick but McGee checks it.

McGee is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGee manages to avoid it.
McGee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

McGee rushes Smith and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Smith is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

McGee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Robert Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Boggerjoe McGee will probably get the nod.

Smith scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops McGee to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Smith is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
McGee throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.

Smith cracks McGee with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! McGee is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and McGee is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! McGee could not beat the count!
