The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues delivers a nice body kick.
Rodrigues lands a head kick. Shimabukuro smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Rodrigues connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rodrigues throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Shimabukuro takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Shimabukuro sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Shimabukuro is breathing heavily.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rodrigues! Shimabukuro is out on his feet! Rodrigues rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Shimabukuro is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Shimabukuro is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
