Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ellert Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Lead!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Roberts connects with a solid leg kick.

Lead shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roberts napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Lead is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roberts knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

It looks like Lead might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Roberts scores with a hook to the body. Lead takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Lead shoots in looking for a takedown. Roberts tries to sprawl out of it but Lead keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roberts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ellert Roberts will probably get the nod.

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Roberts jabs Lead to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lead takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lead is rocked!
Lead walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Lead limp body while Roberts jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ellert Roberts!
