Lannister tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ariffin looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ariffin gets a clinch.
Ariffin looking to throw knees to the head but Lannister is blocking nicely.
Lannister wants to take the fight to the mat but Ariffin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lannister drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ariffin pulls guard successfully.
Lannister wants to control from the top but Ariffin keeps moving.
Lannister stands and throws Ariffin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lannister is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ariffin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ariffin prevents Lannister from moving into mount.

Lannister seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ariffin for as long as he can get away with.
