Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Claude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chael Claude enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guzman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Guzman wants to stand but Claude is controlling his arm.
Claude is holding Guzman down, trying to stall.
Claude struggling a bit here.
Claude sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Guzman is looking to stall here but Claude recovers full guard.

Claude has his foot on Guzman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guzman works his way back into a safe position though.
Guzman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Claude is pulling down on Guzman's head. It's preventing any offense from Guzman, at least for the moment.
Claude is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Guzman is looking for a sweep. Claude is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Claude has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Claude wants to control the pace but Guzman is squirming around nicely.

Claude with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guzman is trying to reverse the position but instead Claude has taken his back - oops!

Claude is working for a rear naked choke. Guzman is not defending it well and Claude has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Guzman refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Guzman's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
