And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Goldberg!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stallion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Goldberg is looking for a sweep. Stallion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Well, if Stallion is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Goldberg trying to control but Stallion postures up.

Goldberg is staying active underneath Stallion, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stallion. Goldberg does a little dance to reset his feet.

Stallion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goldberg can do anything to dispel that myth.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stallion really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Goldberg is pressing down on Stallion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stallion wants to control from the top but Goldberg keeps moving.

Goldberg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stallion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Stallion trying to control the position from guard on top but Goldberg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Stallion wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Stallion manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Goldberg on his heels. He'll look to pass Goldberg's guard now, I'm sure.

Stallion avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stallion sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Goldberg's guard.
Stallion working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Goldberg tries to roll over but Stallion keeps him under control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Goldberg is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Stallion is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Goldberg gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Stallion gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
