Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Touquinho Silva!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a left and a right that send Spud crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Spud Spud has been cut.
Spud Spud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A shot to the liver by Silva. Beautiful body shot.
Spud shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spud's corner calls for a 1-2. Spud obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Spud lands a nice hook to Silva's body. Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spud.
Spud rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Spud lands a jab to Silva's midsection.
Silva misses with a double jab.
Spud just misses with a punch to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silva, as that shot connected.
Spud is rocked!
Spud throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Oh Spud is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crack! Silva connects with the perfect overhand right and Spud falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Silva!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Touquinho Silva!
