Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alen Ubojica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Higa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubojica doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Higa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ubojica really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Higa has an Americana. Ubojica didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Higa is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Higa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
