The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by DeSilva!
Donovan tries to clinch up but DeSilva circles away and keeps his distance.

DeSilva stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Donovan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with DeSilva, pushing him back against the cage.

DeSilva wants to break free but Donovan has control.
Donovan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but DeSilva blocks it with crossed arms.

DeSilva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Donovan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

DeSilva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donovan.
Harry Donovan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeSilva avoids the head kick by Donovan.
Donovan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Donovan there as he acknowledges the shot.

Donovan has taken the fight to the clinch.
DeSilva tries to break the clinch but Donovan is controlling the position.
Donovan tries a knee to the head but DeSilva blocks it.
Donovan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

DeSilva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
DeSilva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Donovan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Donovan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by DeSilva.

Donovan is rocked!
DeSilva fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Donovan square on the jaw! Damn, Donovan is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
