Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kirk Lohan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bam Neely!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neely moves out of range of the strikes.
Neely with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lohan counters with a one-two to the body.
Lohan scores with a decent looking hook.
Lohan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Neely shoots in looking for a takedown. Lohan tries to sprawl out of it but Neely keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lohan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Neely shoots in but no luck this time.
Kirk Lohan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bam Neely.
Neely misses with a head kick.
Neely's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lohan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Neely scrambles back to his feet.
Neely is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neely throws a front kick aimed at Lohan's knee but Lohan avoids it well.
Neely is still on wobbly legs! Can Lohan finish him?
Lohan lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Neely falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kirk Lohan!
After the fight, Kirk Lohan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
