Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Ataxia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Fargo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Ataxia has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Ataxia seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fargo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ataxia counters with a nice uppercut.
Fargo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fargo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fargo shoots in for a takedown but Ataxia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ataxia lands a right hook to the body.
Butch Fargo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Ataxia does it's job there.
Fargo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ataxia throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fargo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ataxia's waist but Ataxia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fargo off to one side.
John Ataxia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Butch Fargo.
Fargo shoots for a double leg takedown but Ataxia sprawls well. He's pushed Fargo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ataxia lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ataxia stuffs the takedown attempt from Fargo. Fargo gets slowly back to his feet.
Fargo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Fargo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ataxia sprawls well. Ataxia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fargo gets slowly back to his feet.
John Ataxia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fargo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ataxia is fending him off so far but Fargo persists. Nope, Ataxia circles away and we're back to standing.

Fargo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ataxia.

Fargo looks gassed!
Fargo shoots in for a double leg but Ataxia sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fargo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ataxia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fargo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ataxia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fargos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Fargo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ataxia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fargo somewhat.

Fargo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ataxia avoids it really well and circles away.
Ataxia connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ataxia drops Fargo with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ataxia follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
