The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anton throws a right and a left that both miss.

Slite decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Slite keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Slite stands up out of the half guard.
Anton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slite sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Anton shoots in for a double leg but Slite sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Slite not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kimbo Slite.
Anton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slite pinned against the cage. Slite gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Slite creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Anton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Slite looks up at the clock and then as Anton takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Slite smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Slite decides to stand back up.

Slite stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Anton to get to his feet.
Anton moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Slite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Slite looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Anton!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slite takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kimbo Slite has got the better of the ground game so far.
Slite with a couple of short strikes.
Slite with shots to the head and body - Anton looks very uncomfortable down there.
Slite has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Slite is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Slite tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slite misses with a straight right.

Anton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Slite counters with a single leg into guard. Anton didn't expect that.
Slite passes Anton's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Slite seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Slite with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Let's hope that Slite has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Slite uses his free foot to push down on Anton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Anton.

Anton tries to hold on but Slite pushes him away.

Slite with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Slite pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kimbo Slite showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
