Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Just Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Just Time!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thiago Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Time counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Some bone on bone action there as Time checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Silva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Time lands a jab.
Silva checks the leg kick.

Time drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Silva wants to control but Time postures up.
Time working the body and head with strikes.
Time lands a nice forearm strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Time staying calm.
Silva manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Time is holding on to half guard well.

Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva seems to be working for a kimura but Time defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Time is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Time looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Time looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Time!

Time tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Time has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Time wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well.

Silva wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Time cracks Silva with a big right hand but Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Time knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Time's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Time tries to score with a low kick but Silva moves his leg out of the way.
Time dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Time darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva wants to control but Time is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Time seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Time missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Time wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position.
Silva is looking to control Time's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
Silva works his way to full guard. Good work.
Time throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Time is pressing down on Silva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Silva is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Time is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Time has escaped and now he's on top!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Time with a hook.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Time counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva thows a left - swing and a miss!
Silva checks the leg kick.
Time avoids the head kick by Silva.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva closes the distance but Time moves to the side
and Time counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Time swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thiago Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Silva blocks a jab.

Time gets a clinch.
Silva with a knee to the head.


It looks like Just Time has been cut.
Time throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva is breathing heavily.

Silva's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Time lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not.
Silva is trying to stall.
A short left from Time.
A body shot lands from Silva.
Silva lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Time lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Time digs a right hand underneath Silva's ribcage. Silva let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Silva is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Time blocks an uppercut.
Time takes a knee right on the jaw!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Time blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Time lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Time is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Silva is defending well for now.
Time lands a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Just Time dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Just Time's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Silva walks into a left hand.

Time drives through with a takedown into guard.

Time wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Time is sitting in close to Silva's body. Silva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Time is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Time is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silva.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Thiago Silva!
Thiago Silva spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
