Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bart Van Elleboghen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Smith!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Elleboghen misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Van Elleboghen pushes Smith away with a front kick.
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Van Elleboghen defends it nicely.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Van Elleboghen counters with a straight right hand.
Smith keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Van Elleboghen misses with a body shot.
Van Elleboghen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bart Van Elleboghen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Smith.
Smith shoots in but Van Elleboghen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Van Elleboghen circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Van Elleboghen. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van Elleboghen cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smith looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Van Elleboghen finish him?
It looks like Jacob Smith has been cut.
Smith looks gassed!
Van Elleboghen fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Smith to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Smith looks to clinch but Van Elleboghen throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Smith taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Bart Van Elleboghen!
