Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Pires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toppe Turkulainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toppe Turkulainen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toppe Turkulainen!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pires fails with the takedown.
Turkulainen delivers a nice body kick.
Turkulainen keeps Pires at a distance using the push kick.

Turkulainen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Pires is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Turkulainen is aware though and is defending well.
Turkulainen looking to sit in guard and control but Pires gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pires postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pires stays in close to Turkulainen's body and controls the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turkulainen controls Pires momentarily but Pires frees himself.
Turkulainen can't keep his opponent in guard - Pires advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pires is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Turkulainen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pires. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pires controlling from the full mount.
Pires breaks from Turkulainen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Pires looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Pires has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Turkulainen's face.
Turkulainen tries to hold on but Pires postures up.
Turkulainen seems to have recovered his senses.
Pires could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pires with shots to the head and body - Turkulainen looks very uncomfortable down there.

Turkulainen is rocked!

Pires is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Turkulainen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Turkulainen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Pires anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Turkulainen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Pires slips an arm under Turkulainen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Pires has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Pires is squeezing on Turkulainen like an anaconda would it's prey. Turkulainen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

A less than humble Leonard Pires misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
