Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Bligh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gronk Kowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Skillet - Monster. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bligh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bligh is working for takedown but Kowski is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kowski has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bligh is trying to keep an underhook but Kowski manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Bligh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kowski pulls his head out easily.
Bligh wants to improve his position but Kowski is controlling well.

Bligh has hold of Kowski's hands but Kowski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bligh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kowski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bligh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kowski is nestled in close to Bligh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kowski connects with a nice short shot to Bligh's temple.
Kowski lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kowski scores with a big shot! Bligh's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bligh! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

After winning the bout, Gronk Kowski thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
